Pine Tonic

If the weather already has you feeling down, a teaspoon of tonic on its own or stirred into a cup of hot tea helps to ease symptoms of winter ailments, such as chest congestion, coughs, runny nose, and sore throats.

This particular tonic is inspired by a wintry, silent forest; the silence that only forms from a thick blanket of heavy snow.

It begins with multiple evergreen species--needles and cones, followed by wild berries, warming herbs, rosehips, and other healing plants, all loaded with nutrients and Therapeutic qualities that improve vigor and nurture at the deepest level.

Conifer tree needles have a deep citrusy flavor and are rich in minerals, flavonoids, vitamins, and antioxidants. They are also anti-inflammatory and anti-viral. They contain high levels of cardiovascular-protecting properties, in addition to polyprenols, which benefit us by stimulating our immune system.
