There are few things more empowering than writing a spell or a petition with magical ink! The color, the viscosity, and the aroma, all serve to put me right into that place that can only be reached when I am actively practicing. If you have ever used a magical plant ink, you know what I am talking about! If you haven’t, what are you waiting for?!

As kids, many of us would combine items from nature, whether it was a mud pie or a “potion”. These were some of the most powerful and magical creations any of us will ever make; the passion runs deep. I get that same feeling every single time I mash up plant material to make an ink. Mixing the herbs or berries or flowers with the vinegar or alcohol, is reminiscent of mixing grass into mud or adding bones to creek water.

Whether you journal or are building an intricate Book of Shadows, magical ink just adds such a unique touch to your writing.

We all know how certain herbs and plants correspond to our everyday life, so why wouldn’t you incorporate these correspondences into the very core of your practice?! Certain magical inks create a stronger connection to certain workings. The right ink can serve as a catalyst all on its own.

Being made from Belladonna berries, this ink WILL stain. It is alcohol based, and I've added a minimal amount of Lavender EO to improve the aroma. The alcohol base serves as a diluent and natural preservative. Store in cool, dark space.
