Blue Lotus tincture
Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea)
This beautiful flower contains nuciferan (a natural anti-spasmodic) along with aporphine, which offers the user a feeling of calming euphoria. It is also helpful with gastrointestinal problems, such as diarrhea and dyspepsia.
Blue Lotus' euphoria inducing capabilities are often compared to MÐMÀ, but less intense and more calming than stimulating.
Many users report a mild, stimulant-like effect that is felt when working with Blue Lotus. The sedation properties are present, but the tingly, energetic sensation of stimulants is experienced as well.
Due to a natural property, many people with social anxiety or awkwardness report this as a great tool for socializing.
Blue Lotus works as an aphrodisiac, especially when sexual dysfunction is due to depression. It has also been used to successfully treat erectile dysfunction.
Historically, Blue Lotus was used to treat conditions of the liver, to counteract poisons, to remedy constipation, and to regulate one's urine.
Blue Lotus is revered for its ability to deepen spiritual connections, enhance energetic awareness and reach higher levels of consciousness when used in a meditative trance-like state.
Used in rituals, the Blue Lotus is linked to the afterlife and rebirth; King Tut's mummy is covered with these flowers. It stands for the reawakened and enlightened consciousness of the dead.
The lotus was considered the divine, all-seeing eye, in the battle of Horus and Seth. It is said that after Seth rips Horus' eyes from his head and buries them beneath the sand, they were transformed into lotus flowers.
It is also believed that Blue Lotus was used by an elite priesthood to experience a shaman ecstasy (Journal of Drugs 21). The God of the mystery cult, Osiris, is most often associated with the symbol of the Blue Lotus flower.
I have personally prepared and tinctured this plant material. It is quite potent, yet smooth.
You will receive a 30ml, dark glass bottle. Care and usage suggestions will be included with each package. Following these suggestions, your tincture should be shelf-stable for a minimum of 3 years.

Excellent tincture!
I have been using the Blue Lotus tincture for several months now for occasional insomnia and anxiety. It takes about 20 minutes and I begin to feel a calm wave come over my body and mind. Once I am asleep, I have very vivid and cathartic dreams that often leave me mindful about the days to come. It is a quality product and has been consistent over the months I have worked with it.
