Dark Moon Ritual Oil

There is nothing quite like working outdoors on the night of the dark moon. The energy felt under the physical absence of the moon is palpable. In my opinion, this is the most energetic moon phase.

Barefoot in the dirt or on the beach, on the night of a dark moon, makes me a very happy Witch. The Earth offers us Her energy and strength when we need it, and the more connected we are with Her, i.e. bare feet upon Her, the more open we are to receiving Her gifts. For any workings performed in the Underworld, or any traveling performed on the dark side of the veil, a Witch needs all the extra energy we can get. The Dark Moon holds the ideal energy field for these times. This oil helps isolate and call upon this exact energy-like a tether, reaching right to the energy reserves we are so dependent upon to seek that which is hidden.
