Rose Hip Syrup *Vegan*
I've made this Rose hip syrup vegan friendly! It is also safe for the whole family. (See below)
Rich in nutrients and disease-fighting properties, rosehips have gained attention for their role in health and beauty.
Rose hips are a key component to our daily needs for fiber, vitamin a, vitamin B5, vitamin C (key to collagen synthesis and immune health), & vitamin E.
Rose hips get their red-orange color from carotenoid pigments known as lycopene and beta carotene. These pigments have been shown to promote skin & eye health. Rose hips naturally lower inflammation & oxidative stress in the body.
Healers have long known the anti-inflammatory & pain-relieving properties of Rose hips.
When processed via cold pressing, Rose hips also offer fantastic anti aging properties, because the seeds are so high in polyunsaturated fats, which not only support healthy skin, but also protect our skin from aggravators such as cigarette smoke, UV rays, & pollution. (I have processed these using the cold-pressing method) To truly optimize the anti aging and skin care benefits of this syrup, use it in conjunction with my Rose hip oil.
Adding rose hip syrup to your daily health regimen, can quickly lead to a noticeable decrease in skin wrinkles & an increase in skin moisture content & elasticity. Daily intake of rose hips can also lead to faster wound healing & less scar development.(personal experience with this!)
Osteoarthritis, which is a gradual decline in cartilage in your joints, leaves one to suffer in tremendous pain & debilitating inflammation. Supplementing with rose hips may help relieve osteoarthritis symptoms by combating oxidative stress & inflammation in your joints. (I can attest to this one!)
Rose hips can help lower blood pressure and encourage healthy cholesterol levels.
In summary, Rose hips may help prevent skin aging, reduce osteoarthritis pain, & aid weight loss & heart health.
This Rose hip syrup is both vegan and children friendly! Coconut palm sugar also has a low glycemic index, important to those with diabetes or others concerned with sugar/glycemic levels.
This syrup is crafted from cold pressed, organically grown Rose hips, distilled water, and coconut palm sugar.
Rose hips don't have many contraindications, but minimal study has been performed on use by pregnant or breast feeding individuals.
If you have recurring kidney stones, sickle cell anemia, or hemochromatosis, do not take Rose hips in large quantity, due to the presence of natural Vitamin C.
As with all my products, this product is small batch made, and organically grown by The Jagged Path.
