My Sweet Annie tincture is made from Artemisinin Annua L., more commonly known as Sweet Wormwood.
Artemisia annua has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for fevers, inflammation, infections, and headaches. It has also been a long-time treatment for malaria (Efferth et al., 2008). Annua’s boasts Anti-inflammatory, Antioxidant and Antimicrobial Effects.
In addition, A. Annua extracts had some activity against SARS-CoV, the c-virus that caused the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) outbreak in 2002–3. Through antiviral screening, Mateon Therapeuticcs, Inc. has recorded Artemisinin’s ability to greatly inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2, the novel c-virus that causes C-19 (Antiviral Res., DOI: 10.1016/j.antiviral.2005.02.007).

While I cannot not offer any guarantees for this or any of my products, other than potency and freshness, I am personally using this tincture, based upon the research that has been done, and the fact that this particular plant's extract is currently being tested as a possible treatment for those with C-19 infections. Along with all of its other benefits, I have decided to add it to my daily routine.
As with all of my products, this tincture is gluten-free and vegan friendly. In addition to the plant material, this tincture includes gluten-free alcohol and distilled water.
This is made in small batches to assure freshness and quality. I personally test each batch before offering it to you. I also place each bottle on my altar, bless and charge them.
You will receive a 30ml dark colored, glass bottle, along with care and usage suggestions. Following these suggestions, your product should be shelf stable for a minimum of 5 years.
