Possessing a fragrance reminiscent of dark animalistic nature, deep lush earth, and the smoldering of intoxicating incense, my Witches Sabbath ritual anointing oil conjures the energy of the Witches’ nighttime gatherings.
Created from ingredients found in nature, then imbued with sorcerous herbs, this oil may be used during the sacrament of spirit flight in route to the Sabbath, in festivity rites for special days on the Witches calendar of the year, or during rituals seeking power, spirit, or upon desire to go beyond oneself in celebration of the Witches’ Sabbath.
Bring together your circle of friends or your Witches Coven and celebrate Samhain with this sinfully beautiful ritual oil. As an anointing/ritual oil, this can be used to anoint any tools of your craft, your candles, or yourself. It can also be added into a cleansing bath.
I began infusing this blend on Lughnasadh 2020, was processed during the Autumnal Equinox 2020 (under the force of Tropical Storm Beta), then bottled and charged under the Harvest Moon 2020, under the guidance of my personal guides and protectors.
This ritual oil is comprised of an abundance of magical ingredients, some of which I will share, without giving away my entire creation. My Witches Sabbath Oil is composed entirely of materia grown in my own personal garden, or ethically sourced from a trusted, fellow herbalist. It contains rosemary sprigs, white sage, mullein flowering tops, wormwood artemisia, rue, passionflower aerials, and calendula flowers, along with a few others. It also features a double infusion of Mugwort, beginning with an infusion of the leaves, and ending with an infusion of flowering tops. I have also incorporated a trace amount of Henbane, under the guidance of Hekate, to aid with shapeshifting, underworld journeys, and witch-flight.
Each bottle of anointing oil will be placed upon my altar, prayed over, and set with positive intention and energy before ever leaving my hands.
You will receive a 15ml glass bottle, along with a usage and storage suggestion card. Following these suggestions, your product should be shelf stable for a minimum of 5 years.
